Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Business Partnering and Relationships: Deliver effective financial management, control and advisory support to optimize business performance. Help to solve high profile business problems and progress transformational projects. Work closely with and influence senior management to drive business performance by providing objective advice, insight and challenge, effectively acting as a catalyst for change. Promote and share finance best practices across the region and the Group. Participate in the development of the overall BBC Studios financial strategy to ensure long-term financial position is accurately modelled and forecast. Ensure effective governance, risk management and internal compliance processes and controls are in place, taking into account local laws, for example Canada & Mexico. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all relevant stakeholders including external partners such as AMC, Britbox and Blue Ant. Analyze and track forecasting and reporting of Global Distribution costs. Facilitate self-development by identifying and meeting own skill development needs. Budget & Forecasting: Review and challenge branded services forecasts, providing financial advice on a range of issues. Challenge actual or potential variations to budgets.
