What does a great Product Marketer do?

A successful Product Marketer effectively assists with executing the marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, generate demand, and support revenue growth for specific product lines.

How you will provide meaningful contributions:

Work closely with product teams to gain an in-depth understanding of complex products and identify unique selling points. Assist with developing compelling product messaging and content by becoming an expert for our customers, understanding industry pain-points, and criteria for purchasing. Translate technical product details into compelling and easily understandable messaging for non-technical audiences. Identify and engage with industry analysts to build relationships and gather insights to inform marketing strategies. Support the creation and implementation of impactful product demos. Assist with product launches, competitive intel, product roadmap and marketing release. Support sales through the development of sales enablement programs and materials to educate prospects and customers on our product differentiators. Partner closely with product and sales leadership to understand the product strategy, competitive landscape, and to develop go-to-market plans for new products and solutions. Adapt product messaging, content, and marketing materials to resonate with international audiences, considering cultural nuances and regional preferences. Identify and evaluate industry-specific awards, recognizing opportunities to showcase the company's products and innovations. Collaborate with the product team to select the most compelling and award-worthy products and features. Create and coordinate award submission packages, highlighting the product's unique selling points, impact, and benefits. Track and measure the success of award submissions, including the number of awards received and the impact on brand recognition and sales. Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

Bachelor’s degree marketing or similar fields 5-10 years of experience in marketing enterprise-level software products Lead various type of projects that include large and complex product rollouts. Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work with our clients’ senior management levels. Proven leadership around Innovation. Proven presentation, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills and proven ability to communicate our value proposition. Proven multi-tasking, time-management, project management, problem-solving and team-building skills within complex environments. A proven record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to balance multiple projects with tight deadlines successfully.

Preferred Skills / Experience

Knowledge of the financial services industry. SaaS experience preferred. Experience working with analyst. Knowledge of Financial Technology providers for products such as Investor Experiences, Advisor Experiences, Financial Planning, Portfolio Management, and Trading systems that exist in the market. Worked within smaller product marketing teams having developed a wide range of skills (i.e. messaging, sales collateral creation, sales enablement, product demos, product launches, competitive intel, product roadmap and release marketing).

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. Salary range: $100-150k
