Enbridge Gas Ohio is looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner who will serve as an advisor to management and employees, providing information to ensure company Human Resources programs, policies and procedures are administered in an effective, consistent, and legal manner. Here’s what you will do:
- Identify Human Resources needs for assigned groups within the business unit.
- Collaborate and work with management and others in the Human Resources community in developing strategies and plans to address needs identified and to integrate Human Resources strategies and plans with business strategies and plans.
- Coordinate administration of broad array of Human Resources programs such as succession and workforce planning, test administration, transfer/relocation policy interpretation, staffing/position posting system, performance management, compensation/salary administration and pay for performance processing, leadership training, co-op, and minority scholarship programs, etc.
- Gather and compile data, perform analysis and make recommendations.
- Provide interpretation of union contract to line management and attend and participate in grievance process by providing input and advice to management and employees.
- Act as a resource for less experienced co-workers.
- Lead or coordinate Human Resources initiatives or projects.
You have:
- A related Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of directly related knowledge and experience.
- For candidates who do not possess a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 3-years of related experience is required.

- Strong working knowledge of performance management, employee relations, pay and staffing trends and practices. -Knowledge of company organizational structure.
- In depth knowledge of company policies, programs, procedures, and relevant government -regulations.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Strong personal computer skills and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft applications and SAP.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
- Office Work Environment 76 -100%.
- Travel Up to 25%.
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
