We are looking for a

Staff Accountant

for a local bank. The Staff Accountant performs various day-to-day accounting functions including running daily financials for variance analysis. Staff Accountant is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Responsible for timely and accurate general ledger reconciliations.

Prepares support for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts, including but not limited to prepaid and fixed assets.

Interact with all levels of the organization to produce timely internal reports requested by senior staff and management.

Assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting as needed.

Assist in preparation and publishing timely financial reporting and submit all schedules requested.

Supports preparation of various analytical reports and information.

Prepares monthly certifications and schedules.

Responsible for any additional duties or projects.

Temporary job for 12 - 16 weeks .

Specific qualifications for the position include:

3+ years Accounting Experience.

2+ years Bank Accounting; preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Pay Rate Range:

$31.25 - 36.05 / hr

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
