We are currently looking for a full-time patient care coordinator dedicated in providing excellent customer service in our outpatient clinic. The patient care coordinator will be responsible for making sure that therapist caseloads are at capacity and coordinate visits with parents and therapist. Must be bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish.As a patient care coordinator you would facilitate scheduling of home and clinic visits for the care staff as requested by the patient and assisting the the coordination of the client care.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include by not limited to the following:Schedules home and clinic visits for the field staff as requested by the client and assists with the coordination of the client care.Creates and maintains staff schedules and coordinates visits with case manager and other assistants.Contacts team members and/or clients regarding day-to-day scheduling changes.Manages re-staffing for sick leave, vacation, long-term leave and other categories as may be needed.Manages staff to ensure adequate staff coverage.Resolves scheduling conflicts.Provides effective communication to patients and their families/provided caregiver.Notifies administrator of any problems within the scheduling team.All other duties as assigned.Other Duties as require include the following:Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and organized.Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish and EnglishExperience:Customer Service: 1 year (required)Computer Skills: 1 year (required)Scheduling Skills: 1 year (preferred)Insurance Verification Benefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceMedical Specialty:PediatricsSchedule:Monday to Friday
