Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all project activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Stay informed of changes in laws and standards affecting highway engineering and project management.

Construction Oversight:

Provide technical support during the construction phase, including site inspections and addressing construction-related issues. Ensure construction activities adhere to design specifications and quality standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, schedules, budgets, and correspondence. Present project updates and status reports to clients and senior management.

Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in highway engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a project management role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in highway design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ORD) and project management tools. Strong understanding of highway design standards and guidelines (e.g., AASHTO, FHWA).

Project Management Certification:

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.

Professional Registration:

PE (Professional Engineer) license required.

Leadership:

Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
