DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and post journal entries for various accounts, including accruals, prepaids, and payroll.
Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Manage accounts payable transactions.
Handle vendor inquiries related to accounts.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
Provide general support to the accounting team and other departments as needed.
Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as requested.
Prepare documentation for external auditors
Prepare and process accounts payables
Coding Payables for Wholesale & E-commerce divisions

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR THE ROLE:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
4+ years of experience in accounting or a related role.
Strong organizational agility and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly within deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, to prioritize work and resolve issues.
Proficient in accounting software in ERP systems
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies quickly.
May require occasional overtime to meet deadlines or during peak periods.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Team player with good interpersonal skills.
Must have great attention to detail.
