Performing fetal exams including but not limied to 1st trimester ultrasound exam, nuchal translucency measurement, 2nd trimester detailed anatomic survey, 3rd trimester ultrasound exam, full and limited fetal echocardiography, maternal and fetal Doppler (MCA, umbilical artery, ductus venosus, and uterine artery) and biophysical profile. Additionally, the OB Sonographer assists perinatologists in performing invasive procedures, performs portable examinations requiring movement of ultrasound equipment to various locations, and monitors any abnormal changes in patients' color, respiration, heart rate, and responsiveness.Shift:Full Time, Monday-Friday, Day Shift, No WeekendsRequirements:Successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic ultrasound. Bachelorâs degree preferred.Registration (or Registry-eligible) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in OB/GYN.Current CPR Certification requiredDuties and Responsibilities of the OB Sonographer Including But Not Limited to:Performs all ultrasound procedures according to deparment procedures and established protocols.
