Overview: We are looking for individuals who are experienced in Property Management operations, passionate about the resident experience, and who thrive in a fast-paced environment to join our team. Your primary objective is to lead, inspire and create a positive team environment where service excellence and performance are achieved.

Team: Reports into EVP, Property Management and will coordinate with managers across business functions.

The Role: This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

This position is based in Dallas, TX, however travel may be required to US locations where our property portfolio is located.

  • Actively analyze the resident experience through resident calls, team feedback, and reviews
  • Achieve Business Plan and Operational KPI's
  • Manage a small team and continually coach, guide, and support team growth
  • Oversee retention and collections processes
  • Oversee application and leasing processes
  • Identify and help manage potential habitability issues, health/safety problems, reputation damage, or legal concerns until resolution, resident escalations
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to define and implement and manage new processes, requirements, and initiatives
  • Other activities as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • 3+ years in a management position, with excellent leadership skills, and positive influencing, interpersonal and communication skills to be an effective leader and mentor.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and sustain relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Strong business acumen, influencing and negotiation skills are essential
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently
  • Able to effectively manage others to consistently meet goals and deadlines while maintaining quality
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment
  • Exhibit sound judgment in decision-making
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Property Management systems and Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Additional Information:
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment and computers.
  • Days of work are Monday through Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours
