Overview:

The Canadian County Court Clerks Office is seeking a Records Clerk to work as a team member of the Court Clerks Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for for day to day records activity at the court house. This position is located in El Reno, OK.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Scanning, copying and verifying documents.
  • Managing case files.
  • Filing and organizing documents.
  • Providing customer service.
  • Receiving and receipting payments via counter, phone and email.
  • Providing confidentiality.
  • Assisting customers at the counter for all filing inquires and questions.
Job Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and attention to detail.
  • Team player willing to assist and work with multiple groups within and outside the organization.
  • Prior experience with data entry and bookkeeping is a plus.
  • Ideal candidates are willing and able to take directions and quickly adapt to changes.
  • Able to handle stressful situations with courtesy and tact with citizens that could be emotional, excitable and/or upset over a law enforcement or court action
Requirements:
  • Exerting 40-70 pounds of force occasionally; 20-35 pounds of force frequently; 5-15 pounds of force constantly. Standing, walking, lifting/lowering, bending, sitting, carrying, pushing/pulling, twisting, stairs, reaching/handling/grasping, and kneeling/crouching frequently to occasionally.
