We are now hiring for Traffic Control Managers. Starting pay $52-56k per year; Based On Experience. Shift availability M-F 8a-5p, some weekends.

What You Will Do The traffic control manager is responsible for managing our traffic control team. Our Traffic Control Flaggers are responsible for directing and flagging traffic with the assistance of signage and effective communication. Traffic Control Flaggers will be responsible for placing signs, barricades, arrow boards and traffic cones at the job site and breaking down safe lane closures following GDOT regulations and using any signage and traffic equipment necessary. Working as part of a team with effective communication skills makes our Traffic Control Flaggers successful. Our flaggers should demonstrate knowledge of all state safety and traffic regulations set forth by GDOT. Duties include the following: Responsibilities On-call during non-working hours for notification regarding a site deficiency or incident Manage all traffic control staff on site Complete all required monthly, weekly and daily reports Develop and implement traffic plans to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of content Monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements at a company, site and provincial level Provide assistance with the preparation of traffic management information, advice on interpretation of local government OH&S regulations Liaise with regulatory authorities at the site level to promote safety and assist to resolve any issues of non-compliance Interact with owners and owner representatives as required on all safety issues Participate in all project planning meetings related to project work planning and scheduling to ensure planning processes include TMP requirements In charge of assuring safety on the job site and all employees follow PPE & safety requirements Assemble, deliver, and pick up safety products from job sites Operates company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job site Completes operations of assigned traffic control/safety projects setting up and taking down lane closures Drive MOT (Management of Traffic) vehicle to and from project and on work site Check work zone throughout shift to be sure items are still in their proper location Assist team; pick up traffic control items at beginning and end of shift and load into the truck Drive TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) vehicle to and from project and on work site to protect workers and work zone Install, remove and reset delineators, signs, posts and supports Requirements 3+ years of progressive experience in a similar role is required A valid Drivers License is required to operate company trucks; Must have clean driving record ATSSA certification Highly motivated with a passion for safety Traffic Control design experience an asset but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills Strong attention to detail Knowledge of Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Traffic regulations PM Security Solutions Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by law.
