Our Member Services Educators are trusted representatives of PSRS/PEERS who provide educational programs and information to Missouri public school teachers and staff who wish to learn more about their pension system membership and benefits. Our members understand the value of their Retirement System. As a result, our educational programs are well-attended and highly spoken of by those who participate.

Salary: $54,050 to $60,806 Pay within advertised range is commensurate with education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time with benefits; approximately one day per week spent traveling Missouri with some overnight stays.

Location: Jefferson City, Missouri. Opportunities for limited telecommuting once trained.

About PSRS/PEERS

PSRS/PEERS is the largest defined benefit pension plan in Missouri with more than 307,000 members. We work in partnership with Missouri public school districts to provide retirement security for Missouri's public school teachers and education employees.

Our 173 employees work out of our recently remodeled/expanded building located at 3210 West Truman Boulevard in Jefferson City. Our office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and many positions have scheduling flexibility within those hours. We provide state-of-the-art technology and security, with comfortable, ergonomic working spaces and collaborative areas throughout the building. About the Job

As a Member Services Educator, you are part of a close-knit team of knowledgeable professionals who educate and counsel Missouri public school teachers and staff about their retirement system and benefits. You will conduct seminars and other informational meetings at various Missouri locations and assist members with questions. You will represent PSRS/PEERS at conferences and trade show exhibits.

Educators also play an important part in the development of presentations and meeting materials and assist with promotion of member education opportunities. You will help prepare personalized benefit estimates and other information for members who attend meetings, and serve as a backup for our Information Center, answering calls, and chats when you are not on the road.

Job Requirements

Candidates should have at least a bachelor's degree in a business-related field and at least two years' office experience. Pension experience is preferred.
