Our Catering Operations Lead works directly with our Business Development Director to ensure our Catering Department is running at peak efficiency. This position will have oversight of our catering process from start-to-finish. This includes, but may not be limited to the following:

Availability Expectations: Available 6 days/week

Expected Hours: 40+ hours/week

Expected Schedule: Flexible schedule required. Schedule will be driven by weekly/daily catering orders.

Reports To: Business Development Director

Responsibilities

Oversees the production and delivery of all catering orders.
  • Assembles all catering orders ensuring quality and quantity of items ordered and requested.
  • Looks at catering orders in the system for the coming week and communicates about and coordinates large catering orders that will need additional items and staffing.
  • Communicates daily with the shift level leadership about what catering is scheduled for the following day.
  • Coordinates the production of the catering orders that will be picked up or delivered during the current business day.
  • Delivers catering orders or schedules delivery drivers for all deliveries that need to be made throughout the day.
  • Acts as point of contact with catering customers while in the restaurant.
Schedules, communicates, and supports local fundraising events.
  • Acts as the main point of contact for all requests for in store fundraising events.
  • Coordinates with the receiving organization to set the event up and to help them correctly communicate and market the event.
  • Communicates with the restaurant team and leadership about scheduled fundraising events.
  • Provides restaurant support during/on fundraising event days.
Operates as the main point of contact for all donation requests.
  • Evaluates all donation requests to see which requests meet our donation criteria.
  • Tracks all donations to keep track of what was donated and who was the recipient.
  • Interacts with Guests who are asking for donations for gift bags or gift cards from CFA Liberty for fundraising events, and assembles any gifts we are donating.
Supports the restaurant operations by stepping into position to add extra capacity.
  • Whenever catering orders are complete or in between order fulfillment and delivery, help in the Front of House or Back of House operations.
We believe that everyone should be paid for each hour that they work, which means that everyone in our restaurant is paid on an hourly basis. Hourly rate will be commiserate with experience.

***The work schedule is flexible to accommodate catering orders, which means the ability to work week nights and Saturdays is mandatory, as needed.*** The upside to having such a flexible schedule is the ability to attend to personal matters like medical appointments or child activities during normal business hours. It's really a give and take situation that is perfect for someone with the ability to work a flexible schedule that might change every week.

Company Information
In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have.
