Responsibilities

Review and analyze monthly investment advisor performance

Interface with investment advisors to manage client distributions and cash management

Perform annual trust investment reviews

Perform annual trust administrative reviews

Prepare trust accounts for annual internal and regulatory audits

Manage all client and trust information through proprietary trust management software

Review all new trust documents to ensure they conform to South Dakota law

Develop strong interpersonal relationships with all trust beneficiaries to better understand their needs and

personal issues

Perform client onboarding and due diligence including OFAC and AML compliance

Gather and manage tax compliance for all trusts on an annual basis

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Ability to follow-up in a timely manner

Strong ability to multi-task

Ability to work proactively and independently

Organizational and problem-solving skills

Knowledge with working with Salesforce and trust accounting software

Legal, investment management, tax and accounting background to better manage book of trusts

Ability to see beyond an isolated task or project and anticipate project outcomes and issues to improve ongoing
