Summary

The Project Finance team at Freeman plays the role of a Finance & Accounting advocate on projects involving Account Direction, Event Production, Design, Strategy, Digital and Sponsorship practice areas, as well as on some corporate portfolios. The Finance Analyst, Client Services is a unique new role created at Freeman and will be responsible for driving coordination between Project Leads, Growth Leads, Event Production Directors /VPs, and various Accounting/Finance partners to support all financial needs.

This role is responsible for leading portfolio-level strategic financial analysis and preparing reports including monthly recognition and variance commentary, time utilization, KPls, system integration audits on individually managed project budgets. Reporting into the Agency Central Services team the Finance Analyst, Client Services works together with Professional Services, Growth, Accounting, and FP&A and business operations on a daily basis.

This position will support our Agency Central Services team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

Dallas, TX Orlando, FL Nashville, TN Chicago, IL Washington, DC

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret financial data to comprehend business conditions, outcomes, and accounting implications effectively. Collaborate with project leaders to fulfill financial requisites; deliver strategic portfolio analysis and reports. Develop and manage monthly accounting reports utilizing Excel, Procim, Salesforce, Workfront, and SAP. Generate spreadsheets, charts, and graphs to highlight financial trends and conduct comprehensive analysis. Proficiently utilize budgeting and accounting systems (mainly Procim and SAP) to facilitate budgeting and reporting procedures. Manage Project Budgeting within a shared environment, ensuring precise control of profit margins, third-party expenses, resource optimization, employee time tracking, and accurate project budget allocation for accounts lacking assigned Project Owners (approx. 65% focus). Aid in preparing concise monthly financial summaries. Facilitate reconciliation between client budgets/SOWs and internal systems to ensure project alignment. Take ownership of financial components within assigned projects/accounts. Lead client financial analysis initiatives and consultations. Provide support for special projects and produce ad hoc management reports as required.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Financial Analyst Space. Strong background in budget management. Procim, Netsuite & Airtable exp.
