SUMMARY

In response to our company's growth and expansion, we are seeking an HVAC Filter Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Service Department. The Service Manager will lead teams of field supervisors and technicians, coordinating the installation of HVAC filters for heating and cooling systems within commercial and industrial settings across Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, and Missouri. With complete accountability for the Service Department, the Service Manager will uphold our commitment to exceptional performance and outstanding customer service, while aligning with our Core Values of Integrity, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, and Engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with the team to develop comprehensive preventive maintenance plans and efficiency projects
Supervise planned maintenance visits to clients, aiming to proactively upkeep HVAC systems, thereby minimizing downtime and mitigating potential issues
Collaborate with Account Management and Sales to educate clients on the importance of preventive maintenance and provide recommendations to improve their HVAC systems' longevity and efficiency
Lead and guide a team of field supervisors and technicians, providing training and mentoring to enhance their technical skills and knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
Implement a system for tracking preventive maintenance activities, creating detailed reports to demonstrate the effectiveness of preventive measures and identify trends or recurring issues
Collaborate with HR to design and roll out a robust safety program that encompasses comprehensive guidelines, procedures and training to prevent workplace injuries and promote employee well-being
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations, providing a safe working environment for the team and ensuring adherence to safety protocols during preventive maintenance activities
Foster strong relationships with clients, being proactive in addressing concerns and inquiries, and continuously striving to exceed customer expectations in service delivery
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the preventive maintenance team, encouraging innovative approaches and creative solutions to enhance service quality and efficiency
Collaborate with the finance team to plan and manage budgets for preventive maintenance activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets
Conduct interviews and actively participate in the hiring process to select and onboard new team members for the department.
Travel to all FSI and Mission locations required

QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of experience in managing service operations
Profound technical understanding of Mechanical Systems
Exceptional Customer Service Proficiency
Demonstrated capacity for Leadership, Management, and Accountability
Prior involvement with Safety Programs
Track record and aspiration to take a leadership role in the field, including Mechanical Rooms and Roofs
Comfortable working at heights and comfortable climbing service ladders
