The Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator located in the Distribution Center in Byhalia, MS will support the HR department in reaching its overall objectives by providing a wide variety of routine and complex administrative and technical support in multiple areas of Human Resources. This role will be responsible for supporting major areas in human resources including but not limited to: recruiting, employee relations, performance management, benefits, wellness, training & development, HR record keeping, workers compensation & unemployment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (include titles of positions directly reporting to this position):

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
  • Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND FUNCTIONS
  • Performs administrative functions as it relates to the Human Resources Department, including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, off boarding, Performance Reviews and Goal tracking.
  • Verifies I9 documents and maintains I9 and E-verify records
  • Maintains and archives personnel files following records retention guidelines on people doc
  • Provides assistance to employees, answers questions regarding HR processes, functions, policies etc.
  • Support in admin functions of assigned HR systems (Success Factors, Hire Right, ADP, etc.)
  • Promptly respond to unemployment inquiries
  • Support KPI record keeping for performance of temporaries agencies
  • Maintains proper security and follows privacy procedures at all times to protect confidential and sensitive information
  • Maintains and Update Communications Boards
  • Support in other administrative tasks as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a Human Resources environment preferred
  • Good computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ADP and/or Success Factors is a plus
  • Bilingual (English - Spanish) is required
