Call Center Representative Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $16.50/hr | $17.25/hr for Bilingual
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Call Center Representative Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Shift information: M-F between the hours of 8am - 9pm .
    • During our busy season you will be expected to work a 40 hour week and overtime when requested. During initial training and during our off season your hours may fluctuate between 32 to 40 hours depending on client need.
  • Onsite for day 1, then remote

Call Center Representative Responsibilities

  • Help our client members through the enrollment process, and when making updates to their health care and/or pension plans.
  • Start out on one client, and with time will be cross trained to provide assistance on multiple clients
  • Spend your day either on the phone, or providing assistance through webchat conversations and email
  • Quickly build rapport and respond to customers via phone, email, and instant message
  • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements
  • Skillfully translate health and welfare and pension terms, complex plan information and processes into simple explanations and instructions that customers can understand and act upon.
  • Read and understand clients plan documents and online knowledgebase tools while collecting relevant information to determine immediate requests/questions and to anticipate the future needs of the member
  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines providing appropriate and accurate information
  • Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes in a professional manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned
