Supervisor: Senior Manager of OperationsLocation: On-site at both sites in Washington, DC and Hyattsville, MDClassification : Non-Exempt/HourlySynopsis :The Facilities Coordinator II collaborates closely with La Clinica's Senior Manager of Operations to supervise the upkeep of office and clinical equipment, physical spaces, and systems across our buildings. Responsibilities include managing building equipment maintenance, addressing emergencies, securing inspections and licenses necessary for business operations in the District of Columbia and Hyattsville, and serving as a liaison between employees and external contractors for repairs to promote safe conditions.Additionally, the Facilities Coordinator II partners with the Operations team to ensure that small and medium projects align with the requirements set by HRSA Operational Site Visit and accreditation organizations. This role mandates being present at the main building before or after operating hours to ensure the facility is in optimal condition for conducting business.Minimum Qualifications:High School DiplomaOne year experience in building management or administrative roles.Proficiency in the use of technology and general office equipment.Experience performing minor building and equipment repairs.Highly organized with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.Experience working in dynamic and fast paced team environment.Required Skills/Abilities/Certifications/Licenses:Bilingual in English and SpanishStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work efficiently independently and with minimal supervision.Valid driver's license required; traveling between sites to meet with suppliers and contractors.Skilled in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, database managementAbility to work independently and as a member of a team required.Familiar with and able to work with diverse populations with diverse cultural/socio-economic backgrounds.Ability to supervise building projects that include obtaining permits, purchasing supplies, and determining clear timelines to complete projects.Duties and Responsibilities:Ensuring a safe work environment and client satisfaction, this role involves starting the shift early to properly set up the buildings.Conduct inspections across all sites to ensure the excellent condition, safety, and cleanliness of buildings.Assist with ordering supplies for the department and maintain internal inventory up-to-date.Assist with minor building and equipment repairs such as painting small walls, hanging items on a wall, and troubleshooting problems to determine cause.Assist with moving, relocation, and/or assembly of office furniture and equipment.Assist with logistical support for operations, including transporting supplies to all LCDP sites; provide support for activities and events.Collaborate with employees and contractors to ensure effective delivery of services.Assist in planning, coordinating, and completing facility inspections , maintenance, and testing building security systems.Assist with maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations/licensing (OSHA, HIPAA, Dept. of Health, Dept. of Environmental Management, etc.)Complete work order requests, as assigned, from the ticket request system.Perform other duties, as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities : N/A403BHealth insuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceTuition ReimbursementPaid Vacation TimeEmployee Assistance ProgramFSA and DCFSAEqual Opportunity Employer.
