5+ years of professional hands-on software development experience Strong object-oriented design and coding skills and solid understanding of data structures and algorithms Proven experience architecting solutions for complicated systems Experience working on early stage products and building new feature from scratch, using clean, organized, and scalable code Experience supporting other engineers and acting as a “tech lead” Experience working using Agile/Scrum methodology in a fast-paced environment Experience in a high-growth environment working with deadlines and milestones Experience working on software that enables money movement would be beneficial Technologies Used We are building a highly available and globally distributed Ruby on Rails API with Kubernetes on AWS. The front-end is built on React with TypeScript and GraphQL. Observability, monitoring, and metrics are managed through DataDog and Rollbar. Internal tooling is built with Retool. The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $167,500.00 to $205,000.00 per year.
