Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Ceramics, Chemical or similar; or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of quality engineering experience within an IATF or ISO:9001 in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with LEAN, APQP, PPAP, and FMEAs.
Responsibilities:
  • Apply and maintain quality management system requirements and standards for sustainability and continual improvement of the manufactured products.
  • Create and/or update required process and system documentation
  • Lead Problem solving and root cause analysis and its documentation for both internal and external issues
  • Lead Preventative and corrective action development
  • Manage and maintain Complaint / CAPA system software
  • Support engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance
  • Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
  • Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports.
  • Lead PPAP and process change requests from customers
  • Report on quality issues, trends and losses.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits, including second party audits as required.
  • Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems
Qualifications/ Experience:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office programs (word, excel, power point)
  • Knowledge of IATF/ISO9001:2015 standards
  • Ability to interpret statistical data for analysis
  • Strong time management and priorities management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact with vendors and internal/external customers at all levels
