Summary of Position: This position manages moderate to highly complex Information Technology projects utilizing formal methodologies, best practices, business knowledge, creativity and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project execution and completion. A successful candidate will proactively work with business stakeholders to understand their business needs, architect and implement innovative solutions to deliver business outcome.

Responsibilities:

Proactively work with all business stakeholders and to understand their objectives, goals, and/or requirements Manage the design, architect, and implementation of innovative solutions to deliver business outcome Recruitment of qualified resources to meet the needs of the project and/or the customer Communicate effectively with direct reports, supervisors, peers, and business customers Lead customer meetings Gather requirements and develop Statement of Work (SOW) Bids and Proposals (B&P) Provide timely support and achieve Service Level Agreement (SLA) target Writes project descriptions including the explanations of the business need for such projects, the project milestones schedule, dependencies, stakeholders/beneficiaries, technical approach, risks and risk mitigation strategies, and other required documentation. Provide regular reporting on performance and cost Define activities to be performed, sequences, and assign them appropriately to ensure optimal execution Work closely with the technical team to ensure that design and development activities are on track Project management includes - delivering implementation projects for new solutions in complex environments with many involved parties (business stakeholders, IT, software vendors, outsourcing partners, etc.) Skills / Qualifications:

2-3years of Project Management experience Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector, including experience managing IT projects from inception to closure Focus on quality and attention to details Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent negotiation, time-management, and listening skills Strong relationship building skills Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize activities Self-starter with strong initiative Ability to keep up with industry trends and innovation Possess a degree of technical savvy, with a keen ability to learn new technology quickly and easily Familiarity with the Federal Government, both Defense and Civil agencies, is a plus Understanding of PM disciplines including government proposal process, as well as bidding and managing projects is also a plus Proficient in project management software (CRM, MS Project, MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Primavera, Deltek) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is also a plus Soft Skills:

Ability to multitask, and reorg piorities based on daily requirements Sense of urgency around priority deliverables Great oral and verbal communication skills Ability to facilitate meetings Excellent organizational skills, project management, and coordination Ability to follow through on tasks Energetic, action-oriented, positive approach to problem solving and ability to balance multiple projects concurrently Ability to work with minimal guidance
