Client Overview

Our client is a renowned Medical Practice with various locations throughout the area. Their mission is to provide top of the line patient care while providing their staff with a warm and welcoming environment. They are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join their team

Salary/Hourly Rate

$18/hr

Position Overview

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role, serving as the first point of contact for patients and staff. The Patient Care Coordinator will ensure a smooth operation at the front desk and manage various administrative tasks. This will be Monday Friday from 8:30-5.

Responsibilities Of The Patient Care Coordinator

  • Work with patients directly to collect and verify insurance documentation
  • Maintain office inventory levels
  • Greet patients and ensure they are checked in properly
  • Schedule upcoming appointments and notify patients of any cancellations
  • Report directly into the Provider onsite and ensure that all patients have a seamless experience

Qualifications For The Patient Care Coordinator

  • Multi-tasker and must be able to work well under high pressure
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is highly desired
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor is a must

Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred
