Bessemer Trust is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join the Corporate Accounting team. Reporting into the Head of Corporate Accounting, the ideal candidate will be able to manage accounting activities for certain legal entities, ensure the financial statement compilation and bank regulatory reporting is completed timely and accurately, and oversee the accounting and enhancements related to fixed assets, firmwide software capitalization accounting, and intergroup allocations. The ideal candidate will also be able to make a meaningful contribution to our close acceleration project. Responsibilities Specific bank subsidiary accounting close processes and regulatory reporting Key deliverables include legal entity trial balances, bank subsidiary call reports Accounting for fixed assets, software capitalization, and intergroup allocations Preparation of quarterly financial statement close packages for Head of Corporate Accounting and Corporate Controller review Work with the Head of Corporate Accounting on our close acceleration project Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting required CPA is beneficial 6-10 years of professional experience in financial services, preferably banking and/or wealth management Oracle ERP experience is beneficial Analytical and solution oriented Experience in process and control design and implementation Able to effectively train and coach team members Able to build and maintain effective working relationships across the Finance Department Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines Willingness to take on new challenges About Bessemer Trust Bessemer Trust is a leading multifamily office, overseeing more than $200 billion in assets for 3,000 individuals and families of substantial wealth.
