In the Bureau for Family Assistance, the Secretary 2 position will provide clerical and administrative assistance to the Division of Professional Development staff, as well as assist with onboarding new employees into new worker training for Family Assistance employees, that will include Economic Service Workers and Family Support Specialists. This position will also provide administrative assistance to the Division Director and Deputy Commissioners for Family Assistance. This is a state-wide position and may be out stationed in any of the 54 county DoHS offices. Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent. Experience: Five years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience performing clerical duties at the Office Assistant 3 level, encompassing a wide range of office practices, which must have included typing, screening and routing telephone calls and correspondence, and composing routine correspondence. Substitution: College hours or related business school or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for up to two years of the required experience.
