Principal Service Solutions is hiring Entry Level and Experienced Field Service Engineers.You will be trained on installation, servicing, and maintaining semiconductor equipment in a manufacturing fab/cleanroom environment. Travel will be required at some point to support activity in different semiconductor fabs nationwide. All travel expenses paid. Must be ok with being away for 6 to 8 weeks.Must be flexible with all shifts, days/nights. Must be willing to travel up to 80% for domestic/or international travel. Pay Rate: Entry: $28.00/hr to $30.00/hr FSE 1: $30.00/hr to $31.50/hr FSE 2: $31.50/hr to $33.00/hr FSE 3: $33.00/hr to $35.00/hr FSE 4: $36.00/hr plus DOE Job Description: Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment Maintains records and reports as required Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s), and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions Orders and installs parts Responds to emergency service calls as required Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc. Employees must also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both Principal Service Solutions andcustomers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s) Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: 0 years of previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment. Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools. A thorough understanding of technical issues involving the maintenance, repair, and installation of company equipment and company procedures is required. Must be open to up to 80% of travel/andor occasional overnight travel to the factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required (travel expenses paid). Must be okay with travel/ being away for 6 to 8 weeks if required to support work assignments. Must be flexible with all shifts, days/nights. Must have a valid driver's license. Excellent customer interface skills are required.
