Reliability Engineer / Maintenance and Electrical

**Required Industry Background: Wood, OSB, Plywood, Lumber, or other forestry industries.

SALARY Up to $195,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Travel Expenses

REMOTE POSITION WITH TRAVEL

Travel Requirements : This will depend on your home-based location. You will be spending your time in the southern & southeastern USA

We are recruiting a reliability engineer who can mentor and coach as they travel to different facilities You’ll have a home office and travel to our facilities in the southern & southeastern USA. Since you’ll be mentoring & coaching reliability teams in the forestry industry, you’ll need at least 10 years of experience with equipment in the wood products manufacturing industry and the creation & implementation of reliability centered maintenance programs. You’ll be a hands-on engineer developing teams to handle the day-to-day reliability strategy

While we have reliability programs in place, there is always room for improvement Your responsibility will be to evaluate the existing programs and find ways to improve on them. Once you’ve devised new strategies, you’ll lead the implementation process by coaching each team at each facility.

Using Root Cause Analysis & Failure Modes & Effects Analysis, you’ll ensure teams are able to find the problems & optimize the preventative maintenance program. There will be tracking systems used, Bom’s to be created, safety & environmental issues to consider, and performance reports to give.

You’ll need to be a reliability pro, able to communicate with all levels of the organization, handle multiple projects at once, and travel to the different sites. A degree is not mandatory, but would be helpful, along with Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) or other lubrication, vibration, and tomography certifications.
