Director, Marketing and Communications

Provide strategic direction and oversight to all marketing efforts across our diverse portfolio of properties. Develop and deploy strategic initiatives including branding, positioning and strategic alliances that impact the assets. Direct and develop engaging and informative content for various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and blog posts. Project Management and implementation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop and execute innovative branding strategies and marketing concepts for the portfolio as well as individual properties to

drive traffic, leads, and sales. Handle day-to-day coordination of all marketing initiatives (e.g. creative and digital), ensuring timeliness of deliverables and stepping in as needed to drive project completion. Manage development of marketing annual budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, and adjust as needed to meet or

exceed NOI goal. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing campaigns. Oversee and support all creative endeavors on the advertising side, including content creation, graphic design, campaign

development, brochures, and presentations. Oversee digital marketing efforts including website management, social media marketing, email campaigns, and online

advertising. Oversee growth and improvement of strategic alliances such as on-property events, sponsorships, and other partnerships

with appropriate local vendors. Hire, direct, & manage all 3rd party resources. Serve as the primary liaison between CIM Group and marketing agency partners. Coordinate and collaborate with agencies to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Engage with Commercial Leasing team to support efforts to drive occupancy & rents. Collaborate with property managers and VP’s to implement marketing strategies to track marketing attribution. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and marketing. Work closely with cross-functional teams including leasing, property management, and development to align marketing efforts with business objectives. Oversee market research efforts including development of new metrics and data analytics. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Oversight and supervision of the Real Property Marketing team. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)

Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of 5 years’ experience in real estate marketing. COMMUNICATION SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to maintain high level communications suitable for wide audiences and public consumption Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or business owners, boards of directors Ability to provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of marketing reports Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. MATHEMATICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, variance explanations; other analyses as requested. REASONING SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to analyze marketing data and make reasonable assessments and projections in relationship to factors that may be affecting results such as: market conditions, trends, marketing efforts, competition etc. Ability to make judgments and projections on consumer behavior related to marketing programs being developed. Ability to think and react flexibly to re-strategize and re-direct marketing efforts that are not achieving desired results. Ability to set goals and establish overarching strategies along with specific tactics for achievement of goals. Basic skills required to analyze results of marketing programs. TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Proficiency in Word, Outlook; basic skill in Excel Competence in social media navigation Ability to supervise website management and design PERFORMANCE METRICS:

Timeliness and quality of work performed. Meets or exceeds marketing goals set for property including managing incomes and expenses to ensure marketing budget in on track to meet NOI. Ability to build relationships with vendors such as community outreach, merchants, outside advertising agencies, PR teams, media and other vendors to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
