Front Desk Supervisor

coordinates Front Desk operations during their shift including managing Front Desk Agents, Night Audit, Valet/Bellman and Concierge employees by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

(include the following, other duties may be assigned) Directs and assists with training of the front desk staff. Is able to follow all duties of a front desk agent, which include the ability to problem solve for guests, maintenance or housekeeping issues. Establishes a thorough understanding of hotel equipment and software used at the front desk. Provides excellent customer service that goes above and beyond expectations, always maintains a professional presentation, is dressed in proper uniform attire and maintains a groomed appearance. Communicates with other supervisors on a daily basis regarding any issues, problems or concerns. Assists with weekly schedule followed by ensuring proper coverage and maintaining hours based on budget. Completes all daily front desk reports including cash reports, credit card refunds, compensation reports, call back log, shift at a glance form, and double checking the audit. Ensures and maintains a clean and safe environment. Ensures the company’s personnel policies are followed. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software. Point of Sale and Property Management software experience preferred. Must demonstrate proper phone etiquette skills at all times. Ability to lead and direct employees during high volume business periods. Ability to work evenings, nights, holidays and weekends is required.
