Our manufacturing facility in Duncanville TX, is looking for a Manager of Health Safety and Environmental. In this role the Manager will eliminate or control hazardous conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations which may lead to human injury and/or property damage. They will work with a team to protect or improve air, land and water resources in order to provide a clean and healthful environment.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Implement program to improve Performance Expectations for industrial injuries
  • Manage through all incidents and be available 24 hours per day
  • Manage the record keeping (OSHA, Investigations, Training, etc.) and provide analysis to management for assistance in decision making
  • Perform or organize all Safety Training as required by OSHA and MRCG, Be the role model for safety
  • Be the plant liaison for all new and ongoing MRCG Initiatives, Lead the Safety Committee and drive employee participation
  • Environmental Ensure that the plant has no compliance issues
  • Provide oversight for all medical programs including Workers Compensation, Short-Term Disability, Family & Medical Leave Act, etc
Requirements Include:
  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • A minimum of 2 years Management experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment with at least 400 employees
  • Experience Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Working knowledge of budgets and financials statements
  • Demonstrated record of establishing or maintaining safe work environments
  • Planning experience including an ability to think ahead and plan over a 6 month to 1 year time span
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Kaizen techniques
