For more information about what it's like to work for Rausch Coleman Homes, including a more comprehensive listing of company benefits, please visit careers.rauschcoleman.com .Position Summary This candidate should be able to effectively manage large quantities of dirt needed on the Job Site, along with operation and maintaining heavy power equipment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManeuvering motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materialsLoading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipmentObserving all stipulated safety codes at all timesCommunicating with coworkers to clarify project specifications, as neededReporting injuries and other accidents to the site managerAdvising the site manager of necessary upgrades, repairs, and replacementsAiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shiftGPS knowledge preferredAdditional duties as required Requirements At least 1 year experience operating a variety of heavy equipment like excavators, dozers, rollers, and off-road trucks etc.A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelinesCapacity to provide and follow directionSharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressureAbility to work extended hours, as requiredPreferred QualificationsOSHA 10 certificationGPS knowledgePhysical DemandsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsPosition is located outdoorsSpend 90%+ of time on equipmentExcellent vision or the use of prescribed lensesExceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationEmployee Benefits:Medical Insurance - PPO and HDHP OptionsHSA - with eligible HDHPDental and Vision Insurance401(k) - includes company match of up to 5%Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid Maternity and Paternity LeaveAdoption Assistance and LeaveTuition AssistanceAnd More
