Cost Accounting Analyst

at our corporate headquarters located in

Dallas, Texas . Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain reporting of monthly key financial performance metrics comparing actual performance to budget and outlooks. Participate in development of the annual operating plan and monthly forecasting. Adhere to the month-end close checklist/process to ensure all month-end reporting requirements are timely and fully completed within a strict timeline. Act as a liaison between manufacturing plants, supply chain, and purchasing to ensure outlooks are updated with proper volumes and prices. Maintain monthly and quarterly fixed costs reports for the manufacturing plants. Prepare monthly unit cost reports by plant and product line and present consolidated reports to corporate management. Support Business Analysis by providing various analysis and tracking of costs by product line. Participate in establishing the current year fixed cost goals for manufacturing plants; prepare updates and communicate quarterly results compared to prior year to Manufacturing Management. Participate in quarterly account analysis of balance sheet activities. Prepare ad hoc reports as needed. This position may require limited domestic and international travel. Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (with a minimum of 18 hours of Accounting). 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations. Proficient with using Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work with large amounts of data with a high degree of attention to detail. Additional Desired Qualifications:

Experience in SAP, Business Warehouse, and TM1 or equivalent. Ability to work in a multi-task/multi-priority environment and meet deadlines.
