Major Responsibilities/Activities:Centralized Intake & Assessment Responsibilities:Accept initial call, engage, assess, obtain demographic info, verify insurance, etc.Collaborate with Supervisor of Fiscal Services regarding insurance issuesWork in partnership with various referral sources to assist with appropriate linkage of clientsDetermine best fit with clinician - maintain intake availability in clinicians' schedulersAssist clients with linkage to other community resources as neededCollaborate with Psychiatric Services and Intake Coordinator, Director of Clinical Operations & EMR, Director of Clinical Services, and Clinical Supervisors regarding clinician caseloadAdd clients to high-risk list when appropriateDaily check of HealtheLink alerts and icarol system for calls to Crisis Services & follow up with clinicians as necessarySupport agency's goals of centralizing intake and coordinating with other Child and Family Services programsCollaborate with community partners to increase awareness of services providedAdditional Duties:Conduct monthly Utilization and Quality Assurance reviews as neededProvide assistance to clinicians as requestedCollaborate with Office Manager regarding administrative/office issuesPossess a working knowledge of Credible EMR systemUtilize Agency phone and email systems following standard customer services protocol, which includes answering the telephone in a timely and professional manner, directing calls appropriately and returning phone and email requests promptly; demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills; and demonstrate knowledge of agency programs and servicesMaintain positive working relationships with program staff and others within the agencyDemonstrate strong interpersonal skills during interactions with internal and external customersModels and practices sensitivity, fair treatment and acceptance of diversity in all interpersonal interactionsParticipates and contributes to program Quality Improvement processMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree preferredBilingual in English and Spanish preferred2 years of experience working in the mental health fieldKnowledge of community resources and programs throughout WNYStrong computer skillsStrong communication skillsCompetitive Pay Range$24-$27 per hour based on experienceCFS offers full-time employees the below benefits to support our employees and their families and help to create a healthy work environment.Paid Time Off (PTO)-20 PTO Days (25 Days After Five Years of Employment)-14 Paid Holidays (includes 2 flex holidays)- Bereavement: Four Paid Days- Paid Jury DutyEmployer Paid Life InsuranceMedical, Two Plan OptionsDental, Two Plan OptionsVision InsuranceWellness Program and IncentivesHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Quarterly Employer-ContributionsHealthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Dependent Care FSA RetirementEmployee Referral BonusQualifying Employer for Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF)403(b) Right Away and Employer-Contributions After Two YearsCFS Diversity Statement: Within our agency and in the communities that we serve, C&FS is committed to diversity and inclusion with race equity at the center.
