Our small but mighty team works alongside the broader Office of the CIO team to support the talent and people components to move our IT objectives forward.

Flexible hybrid work environment (onsite 2 days a week/3 days remote) at our Arlington, TX (AOC 1) or Detroit, MI offices.

Responsibilities:

About this role:

The Lead Readiness Consultant - IT will be responsible for building a human-lead tech modern approach to transition individuals, teams, and organizations from a current state to a desired state in support of transformation and other key initiatives across the IT organization. In partnership with key stakeholders, you will utilize storytelling and strategic change methodologies to support key milestones aligned to transformation activities. You will utilize modern change, communications, and engagement tools to reach a global audience and create a measurement approach and framework to measure and communicate success.

Facilitate and direct the development and sustainment of change management and organizational readiness strategies, plans and activities that drive organizational transformation, maximize employee adoption, and minimize risk and resistance. Lead various tasks by creating and implementing org-wide performance and strategies, structured change management methodologies and organizational readiness strategies that focus on the technology and people side of change.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Partner to build internal change capability by providing change management training and tools
  • Enable and support a community of change agents
  • Drive awareness of the need for change to drive adoption and reduce resistance
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Facilitate continuous improvement through the evaluation of strategic key performance indicators
  • Plan for and lead large scale organization-wide change efforts
  • Lead performance management, talent review and succession identification initiatives, aligning all solutions to the goals, vision, and culture of the organization
  • Mature expertise in design, development and delivery (as needed) of organizational initiatives to various change agents
  • Play a lead role in identifying and leading organizational change management initiatives
  • Lead and/or participate in other projects specific to IT Organizational Change Management and Workforce Transformation as needed
  • Strategize for effectively measuring, monitoring, analyzing and enhancing change management solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Conform with all company policies and procedures

Knowledge

  • Proficient knowledge of org readiness, change management, and internal consulting
  • Proficient knowledge of Project Management Methodologies and Application Development Life Cycles
  • Proficient knowledge of Information System Technology
  • Proficient knowledge of process improvement, technical writing, and strategic planning
  • Working knowledge of Agile Methodologies

Skills

  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while meeting time sensitive deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills
  • Experience in technical writing and process improvement
  • Ability to gain consensus among disparate groups
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Successful experience facilitating meetings
  • Good reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Experience with business case preparation and cost benefit analysis
  • Proficiency with 365 Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint and Visio) and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Understanding of business processes with an ability to identify and analyze organizational needs and gaps

Experience and Education

  • 5-7 years in Change Management or related field, communications, or Knowledge management required
  • Successful leadership of team members and/or experience leading projects required
  • 5-7 years in Auto Finance Industry, in IT or technical field preferred
  • Bachelors Degree Information Systems, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Masters Degree preferred
