Our client is a precision engineering, manufacturing, and machining company focused on the design and manufacturing of mission critical components for the energy, defense, and heave industrial industries. This role has runway to a VP of Supply Chain and Operations role So, what will you be doing as Director of Supply Chain? -Lead and improve the Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP) -Develop supply strategy to mitigate risk and increase inventory velocity -Ensure production plans are efficient and level loaded across multiple facilities/product lines. -Develop a make vs buy strategy considering cost and internal capacity -Create a logistics strategy for domestic shipping lanes What you will need to be successful: -BS in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or another related field -10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management -7+ years of experience in a leadership capacity -Direct experience in a manufacturing environment -Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems -Experience in ERP Also considered a plus: -MBA -CPIM, CSCP certification -Six Sigma certification -Experience in a machining or fabrication environment What to do next: Now that you have had the chance to learn about the role, what are you waiting for?
