We are looking for an individual who loves working with the public, takes initiative, is detail-oriented, thrives in a multi-tasked setting, can work a flexible schedule and is a team player. Experience in the hospitality industry a PLUS, but more importantly, work experience that shows strong customer service skills. The Front Office Supervisor (FOS) is responsible for supervising all duties of the front office including front office team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations resulting in exceptional guest satisfaction and feedback. Assists the Hotel Operations Manager with the successful and effective direction and oversight of the front desk, night audit, bell and valet staff, reservations, guest services, and guest sundry area.
Qualification:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
(college or trade courses in Accounting, Management, Hotel or Hospitality field highly preferred)
Minimum 2 years progressive experience in hotel front desk operations (Gaming Industry experiences a plus).
Ability to work flexible hours, varied schedules and at times a six-day work week; to work under stress and with patience and tolerance as a means to maintain sufficient operational coverage; this may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
Experience and knowledge of overall hotel operations and property management systems.
Competent computer literacy including Microsoft Office, Word & Excel, spreadsheets, databases, and calculators.
Knowledgeable of the local community and businesses and able to clearly communicate this information to guests and visitors of the hotel and Casino.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
