We are seeking an exceptionally motivated, team-oriented high achiever with a relational approach and strategic mindset to join our passionate team. The ideal candidate will have over ten years of success in conceptual and technical sales within the electronic security, digital signage, kiosk, or customer experience products and solutions sectors. Successful candidates will excel in a fast-paced environment, making meaningful connections and establishing themselves as trusted advisors to end-users, channel partners, and technology partners. An existing network in banking, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or self-service is highly preferred.

This role, reporting to the President, offers significant opportunities to join a diverse team dedicated to excellence and driving technology deployments globally. Development efforts will be supported by high-performing marketing, sales support, and technical teams providing resources such as proposals, presentations, collateral, videos, email campaigns, social media, and more. Over the past three years, our sales team has achieved an 85% close ratio of deals quoted. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and social skills are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establish new account relationships by scheduling Webex and face-to-face meetings and presentations.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to target outreach via email, social media, presentations, videos, and trade show events.
  • Update, manage and report on all activities through CRM software, identifying communication and actions performed to generate interest, attract clients and close sales.
  • Collect and develop client product/solution requirements with the assistance of our technical sales staff for client presentations and proposals.
  • Assist and collaborate with technical staff to identify optimal solutions for clients and prospects, with estimates of quantity required over a defined period of time.
  • Develop, implement, and report monthly on a personal strategic business development plan.
  • Stay current on client needs, competition, and industry trends to effectively align competitive positioning.
  • Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations and trade show events.
  • Strive to exceed annual new business development goals.
  • Promote and uphold the company values, reputation, and culture.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude and attitude for rapidly learning industries, technologies, applications, and solutions.
  • Support lead generation, strategic planning, sales presentations, and ongoing relationship building.
  • Leverage a variety of tools, including LinkedIn and videos, to manage the business development process.
  • Host site visits to cultivate strategic account relationships and partnerships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
  • Professional composure, composition, and communication skills.
  • Provide weekly updates on business development activities through CRM.
  • Provide exceptional and timely service on client issue escalation and follow-up with clients and prospects.
  • Demonstrate a record of building successful and profitable business relationships.
  • Possess an outgoing, energetic, positive, resourceful, and creative persona.
  • Display a high degree of adaptability, transparency, organization, planning, and accountability with a sense of ownership.
  • Proficient with MS Office and CRM software.
  • Able to travel for tradeshows and client meetings.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Sales, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 10 years of business development experience in the security/access control industry.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
Compensation:
  • Base pay range: $75k - $125k/year plus commission.
  • Company credit card provided for travel expenses, with mileage reimbursement for personal transportation.
