Great that you're thinking about a career with BSIJob DescriptionTo conduct various types of audits to work closely with BSI clients to help them improve their performance by assessing their systems and processes against BSI standards1) Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to particular items of corrective action where appropriate 2) Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policy, procedures and prescribed time frame. 3) Maintain overall account responsibility and accountability for nominated accounts to ensure an effective partnership, whilst ensuring excellent service delivery and account growth. 4) Lead assessment teams as required ensuring that team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service is maintained and that effective working relationships are sustained both with Clients and within the team. 5) Provide accurate and prompt information to support services, working closely with them to ensure that client records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met. 6) Coach colleagues as appropriate especially where those members are inexperienced assessors or unfamiliar with clients' business/technology and assist in the induction and coaching of new colleagues as requested 7) Plan/schedule workloads to make best use of own time and maximise revenue-earning activity.Additional Job DescriptionAdditional Job DescriptionAbout the role: The British Standards Institution (BSI) is hiring a Client Manager who is responsible for delivering BSI's audit services to assigned clients in accordance with all BSI, scheme and regulatory requirements to assure timely, cost effective service delivery that assures satisfaction of our customer needs. The individual will conduct various types of audits as Team Leader or Team Member. The ideal candidate will have third party audit experience in ISO 27001 - Information SecurityClient Manager Responsibilities:Responsible for attending any required training and following all procedures/processes/policies within BSI for management of clients, management of a home based office, use of BSI equipment and communication both internal and external to the organizationFollow the training plan developed by the AVP in order to reach assessor status and then Lead assessor status through the prescribed programParticipate in additional training based on future business needsManaging a portfolio of assigned clients based on location and a match of qualifications and client contract requirementsResponsible for contracting clients and scheduling the visits, planning the assessments, making travel plans, conducting the assessments and reporting and managing the resultsMonitor the client accounts to ensure that records, PointGlobal information, visit cycle, invoicing and other related matters are properly dealt with to assure client satisfaction is maintainedLead teams, when necessary, and mentor and coach new or inexperienced colleagues as needed to meet the business needsEducation/Qualifications:Associate's or higher (or equivalent certification or work experience)At least 4 years of practical information technology experience, of which at least 2 years are in a role or function relating to information securityGeneric knowledge of management system auditing practicesWhat we offer:BSI offers a competitive salary, group-sponsored health and dental, short-term and long-term disability, a company-matched 401k plan, company paid life insurance, 11 paid holidays and 4 weeks paid time off.AttachmentsOur Excellence Behaviours: Client-centric, Agile, Collaborative.
