About the Opportunity:

The British Standards Institution (BSI) is seeking a Client Manager to oversee the delivery of our audit services to designated clients, ensuring compliance with all BSI standards, schemes, and regulatory requirements. This role is crucial for providing timely and cost-effective service that meets our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Client Manager, your duties will include:

  • Conducting various audit types as either a Team Leader or Team Member.
  • Preparing detailed assessment reports and communicating findings to clients to ensure clarity and understanding of the assessment outcomes.
  • Recommending the issuance, re-issuance, or withdrawal of certifications in line with BSI policies and timelines.
  • Maintaining overall accountability for assigned accounts, fostering effective partnerships, and driving service excellence and account growth.
  • Leading assessment teams, ensuring that all members are well-informed to maintain high-quality service and strong client relationships.
  • Providing timely and accurate information to support services, ensuring client records are complete and up-to-date.
  • Coaching and mentoring colleagues, particularly those who are new or less experienced in the field.
  • Planning and scheduling workloads to optimize time management and maximize revenue-generating activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An Associate's degree or higher (or equivalent certification or work experience).
  • A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in information technology, with at least 2 years focused on information security.
  • A foundational understanding of management system auditing practices.
