**SUMMARY**

**STATUS: Open**

**LOCATION: ElderOne**

**DEPARTMENT: Transportation**

**SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8-5**

**ATTRIBUTES**

* One (1) year of driving experience (maintain a current and clean driving record)

* Class C license required, Class B license preferred (with passenger endorsement)

* One (1) year of experience with frail, elderly population preferred

* Understanding, kind and patient focused

* Demonstrated patience and superior driver skills

* Superior customer service, communication and interpersonal skills

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

* **Transportation.** Transport residents to and from programs, outings and appointments in a timely manner and according to procedures; ensure the safe operation of the bus for all traffic and weather conditions; assure patient satisfaction

* **Vehicle Maintenance.** Maintain vehicle and request non-routine maintenance; maintain vehicle run log

* **Development.** Attend meetings and participate in requested training/activities/courses; demonstrate ability to prioritize workload; communicate any issues with staff

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
