Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with expertise in Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) to join our wholesale team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting our sales and project management teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize MBS (Metal Building Software) to prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for PEMB projects based on architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
  • Conduct thorough material take-offs and pricing analysis to ensure comprehensive and accurate bid proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to gather necessary information and optimize project bids.
  • Evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids, negotiate pricing, and finalize subcontract agreements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry standards related to PEMB.
  • Assist in developing project budgets and providing cost estimates for various stages of project development.
  • Prepare and present estimates, proposals, and bid packages to clients professionally and accurately.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Estimator, preferably in the PEMB industry.
  • Proficiency in MBS (Metal Building Software) is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
