Be part of the integration and test team that is helping to develop the latest in high power sources and advanced Directed Energy Systems Hill Park Engineering specializes in the design, evaluation, and fabrication of high-power sources with over 50 years of professional experience in concepts, techniques, and platforms used to develop current and future Directed Energy Systems. We excel at developing specialized equipment to conduct enhanced High Power Microwave performance evaluations and collaborate with government, industry, and academia to create start to end solutions for various Directed Energy applications. Hill Park Engineering has a facility in Fredericksburg, VA that is minutes from downtown, and less than 45 minutes from Dahlgren and Quantico, VA. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provides critical-thinking input to customer needs within a team environment.

Designs, fabricates, and integrates electrical and electronic hardware including power supplies, cabling, production test equipment and other circuit board applications.

Develops integration and test procedures with traceable requirements.

Develops control and testing applications such as control cards and can bus programming.

Supports system integration, testing, trouble shooting, and problem resolution within a team environment.

Supports data reduction, analysis, and reporting.

Follows safety precautions and performs hazard analysis.

Prepares test plans, cases, procedures, and reports.

Identifies, documents, tracks, and reports on program risks and/or opportunities.

Understands customer requirements and works with team engineers to develop test documents.

Supports design review from preliminary to critical phases in support of meetings with external and internal customers.

Leads and manages technical program teams.

Demonstrates senior level leadership and program management skills.

Manages effort and time within the budget and schedule provided for the task.

Responsible for cost and schedule performance on program.

Monitors and reports on customer satisfaction in relation to projects.

Ensures customer satisfaction in relation to projects.

Supports business development efforts in preparation of quotes and proposals as well as sales efforts.

Supports STEM initiatives by identifying community areas of need and providing solutions within a team environment.

Other duties as assigned.
