Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Fleet Manager to oversee our company's fleet operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the fleet, including maintenance, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with regulations.Position duties include, but are not limited to the following:Develop and implement fleet management policies and proceduresOversee vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure fleet efficiencyCoordinate vehicle inspections and registrationsManage fuel purchases and track fuel consumptionMonitor and assess existing driver behavior and performanceTrain new company drivers according to company and DOT standardsSchedule regular vehicle servicing to minimize downtimeEnsure compliance with safety and environmental standardsAnalyze fleet data to optimize operations and reduce costs Requirements High school diploma/GED requiredClass A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and minimum of five years' driving experience with clean driving recordProven experience in fleet management or a similar roleKnowledge of transportation regulations and best practicesStrong leadership and communication skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesNice-to-have SkillsCertification in Fleet ManagementProficiency in fleet management software
