The Service Advisor/Parts Person will be responsible for managing customer inquiries related to parts and services, ensuring prompt and accurate assistance. This role involves coordinating with our technical team, advising customers on maintenance and repair options, and managing inventory to ensure parts availability.
Applicants will be required to complete office-based testing within a week of receipt through Spherion in order to be considered for this role. Failure to do so will result in no longer being considered for this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email, providing expert advice on marine parts and services.
- Assess customer needs, provide accurate cost estimates, and schedule service appointments.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure a seamless transition from customer inquiry to service completion.
- Maintain and manage inventory of marine parts, ordering new stock as needed.
- Identify and recommend parts and accessories for a variety of marine vehicles.
- Process sales transactions and manage cash, credit, and electronic payments efficiently.
- Update customer records in the system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Foster a positive customer experience by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay informed about industry trends and new products to provide knowledgeable service.
- Knowledge of marine parts and systems is highly desirable.

- Automotive parts or dealership experience is a plus.
