Architect Project Manager (Licensed)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architect Project Manager to oversee the design and construction of a variety of architectural projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of architectural design principles, project management methodologies, and construction practices. A valid professional license is required.
Responsibilities:
Manage the architectural design process from initial concept through construction administration and closeout.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Review and approve architectural drawings for code compliance, constructability, and aesthetics.
Manage client expectations and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee the preparation of construction documents, including contract documents and specifications.
Assist with the selection and negotiation of contracts with contractors and vendors.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and adherence to plans and specifications.
Identify and mitigate project risks.
Manage project documentation, including correspondence, drawings, and material samples.
Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
Valid Architect license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural project management.
Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction practices.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
