About the Role:

We are hiring a talented Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. If you're excited to be part of a winning team, Obsidian Security is a great place to make an impact.A Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for actively driving and managing the technicalevaluation stage of the sales process and mentoring and building the team. She/heworks with the sales team to technically advise on the sales of Obsidian solutions and isa subject matter expert on SaaS security challenges and solutions. It is a salesengineer's responsibility to partner with prospects in a technical and educationalcapacity throughout the sales cycle and be the advocate for the customer back toproduct management and engineering. She/he will work closely with the leadershipteam to build out the rest of the extended team in the respective regions.The ideal candidate is aggressive, collaborative, and knowledgeable, has worked in anoffensive or defensive cybersecurity role, and has strong software engineering abilities.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining Obsidian solutions to prospective and existing customers.

Partner internally and externally to assess security needs and to determine requirements and alignment of Obsidian solutions to prospect pain points.

Conduct solution proof-of-value engagements to obtain technical wins.

Conduct field reconnaissance to provide feedback and insights to product management and engineering.

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards [and incentive compensation] based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
