A Medical Clinic is hiring a Medical Call Center Representative to join their team on a temporary to hire basis in Hauppauge, NY We are seeking an experienced Call Center professional with at least 6 months of experience looking for a role in the healthcare field with growth potential. Responsibilities

  • Patient Communication:

    • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
    • Make outbound calls to patients for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and other notifications.
    • Address patient inquiries regarding appointments, services, billing, and other concerns.
  • Appointment Scheduling:

    • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments using the clinic's electronic health record (EHR) system.
    • Ensure accurate entry of patient information and appointment details.
    • Coordinate with medical staff to manage appointment availability.
  • Customer Service:

    • Provide information about the clinic's services, policies, and procedures.
    • Resolve patient issues and complaints effectively and empathetically.
    • Direct calls to appropriate departments or personnel as needed.
  • Administrative Support:

    • Assist with patient registration and verification of insurance information.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinic procedures, services, and insurance policies.
    • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
