Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Full cycle AP and AR
- Tracking and reviewing receivables
- Assist in reconciling bank statements for multiple accounts.
- Handling bank deposits, intercompany bank transfers, and cash applications.
- Creating journal entries and reconciling GL accounts
-Assist with budget process and variance analysis
- Process invoices with proper approvals and documentation
-Assist with special projects

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

To excel in this Staff Accountant role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of general accounting experience including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in AP and AR and reconciliations
- Experience using larger ERP systems is a plus
- A self-starter with a flexible mindset, able to build strong collaborative connections between the departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Intermediate Excel skills
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to think and work independently and critically
