We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to join our Retail Wireless Product team. As the Staff Product Manager of Value Added Services (VAS) for our wireless business, this individual will own the product life cycle for the Global Services. Through deep engagement with internal stakeholders, as well as the technical teams, the hard problems will be solved, and scope will be prioritized so that timeline commitments can be made based on business targets. Building on top of our brand new 5G network's capabilities and unique differentiators, a new solutions portfolio will be delivered to enable everything new that 5G has to offer at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and manage Domestic & International Roaming services for Talk, Text & Data
Own the Strategy and P&L for Global Services and responsible for product growth
Communicate progress on product development and certification activities and facilitate communication between the company and VAS vendors
Lead cross functional teams through successful delivery of products and services from ideation to launch
Develop scope and negotiate support with IT and VAS vendors
Manage vendor relationships and document requirements to VAS vendors
Identify, articulate and communicate the value of the product capabilities, in support of operational agility, and validating those objectives through data collection and analytics
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study
8-10 years of experience in new feature development and roadmap management
Solid understanding of the product life cycle management in the US wireless market, wireless carrier back-end systems and the wireless carrier perspective as well as device software
Prior experience with revenue generating product development and market launch
An entrepreneurial spirit with an independent self-starter mentality, not shying away from ambiguous situations and addressing challenges quickly through creative problem-solving
