-Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator

-Shift: First Shift (0800-1630)

-Pay: $19.75 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal will also have the following skills:Supply Chain, Operating Systems, Computer software, Phone.

Aminimum of (1) one year's experience in the following:

-Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP is highly preferred.

-Intermediate or higher experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).

-Experience with OMS, OTM, PowerBi is also a PLUS but not required.

-Experience within a Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution environment is highly preferred.

-Experience with receiving and placing calls to customers/drivers.

Role Purpose:

Assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments. Provide communication to both shippers and carriers. Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management for customers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.
  • Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.
  • Track and trace all shipments.
  • Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) SAP.
  • Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
  • Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.
  • Proactively identify problems to management.
  • Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.
  • Prepare client invoice packets
  • Confirm rates with carriers.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
  • 6 months 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferred
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually
